Basic Disaster Ministry

This course is an online, self-paced version of the full-day classroom course, Basic Disaster Ministry.  It has 6 lessons:

Lesson 1.  Introduction
Lesson 2.  About Disasters
Lesson 3.  Faith-Based Disaster Response
Lesson 4.  Disaster Response Roles and Functions
Lesson 5.  Disaster Preparedness in Your Community
Lesson 6.  Get Involved!

It will take about 90 minutes to complete all the lessons.  However, you can stop and start as often as you like.  We do recommend that you take the lessons in order.

Disaster Case Management

This course is an online, self-paced overview of disaster case management. It has 5 lessons:

Lesson 1.  Course Introduction
Lesson 2.  Disaster Response Roles and Functions
Lesson 3.  Overview of Case Management
Lesson 4.  Case Management Process
Lesson 5.  Course Summary

It will take about one hour to complete all the lessons. However, you can stop and start as often as you like. We do recommend that you take the lessons in order.

NOTE: This Community Arise course provides an introduction to the case management process but it does not provide the detailed information needed for someone to become a disaster case manager.
