Classroom Materials: Children, Youth, and Disaster Name: Children, Youth, and Disaster Length: 4 hours Description: Grief impacts children and youth differently at different stages. Unaddressed trauma can affect the healthy development process. This module explains why and how children and youth are more vulnerable to disaster and trauma and identifies the typical reactions and behaviors of children and youth that have been traumatized.
